  -Late Beta 3 Release-I would like to apologize to everyone running ReefCon Pro Beta 2 right now. I had a family emergency arise that caused a delay in the release of Beta 3. I am working hard to get the new Beta out as soon as possible and should have it posted by Tuesday 8 PM EDT at the latest.

  -ReefCon Pro 2.0 Released To All Unlimited Users-We have released Beta 1 of our next version of ReefCon Pro, 2.0, to all of our unlimited versions users. Unlimited users can download the the beta from the MyInfinitySoft.Net area of our website.

  -ReefCon Pro 1.6 Released-ReefCon Pro 1.6 is now available to all users. This release includes a new reference update and submission system as well as several fixes. Visit the ReefCon Pro Page and download your copy today.

  -Upcoming changes in ReefCon Pro 1.6-The ReefCon Pro 1.6 Release will include a major change in the My Reference feature. As many of you know our reference submission system has been off line for some time. Since losing this feature we have been search for a new, more flexible, and more expandable way to accept submissions. Well we did just that. But in order for this new system to work a user MUST reset their My Reference Database. Since many users may not want to lose this data the My Reference database can be used in either Sharable( requires reset) or Private modes. The 1.6 version will also include the new update system built into the program. Those of you that are currently using the seperate program for this feature will be pleased that it can now be done from within the software rather than launching a new app. We are hoping for a release of this version around the beginning of November so stay tuned.

  -ReefCon Pro Has been Released!-After nearly a year of development and testing ReefCon Pro. Our most anticipated software release to date is now available. We have enjoyed working on this first version of ReefCon Pro and would like to thank all of our Beta Testers for their hard work and sticking with us through this long process. Our hats off to them.

  -ReefCon 2000 Service Pack 2 Released.-ReefCon Service Pack 2 is Now availible for download. We have corrected several issues including problems with the Reference Update feature. Here is a short listof updates: Replaced Update System with new system Cleaned up Reference Form Added List tab to Reference Form Got rid of the need to select Organisms Type at start. Replaced all Date Field Edit boxes with DatePicker boxes Added Sorting capibilities to all grid views. Now uses default browser when program jumps to web site. For a more complete list see the readme file in the ReefCon Area of our site.

  -Site Problems-I would like to apologize for our recent site problems. We didn't expect the recent hosting move we had to undertake to be easy, or without problems but we hadn't ever imagined we would continue to have these issues. According to our hosting provider they have completely rebuilt our server and these issues should be no more. Let's cross our fingers and hope they are right...

  -New Chapters- Bill Strieb has provided us with some new chapters for his book "Automating Your Home Aquarium". We have posted Chapter 6 parts 1-4 and will be posting Chapter 7 in the next few days. If you haven't checked out Bill's book we highly recommend it..You can see it in the Automation area of our website

  -ReefCon Pro to Be Released First Qtr '02-ReefCon Pro ,The Next step in Aquarium Software, is scheduled to be released late in the first Quarter of 2002. We have had many people inquire as the to the exact date. We and our Beta Testers have been working hard to make ReefCon Pro as stable as possible and do not want to set an exact date to make sure we acheive that goal.   -ReefCon Pro Beta 1 to be released-ReefCon Pro Beta 1 will be released on Monday April 23rd. On April 23rd we will also be notifying new Beta testers if they have been accepted to test this release.

  -Reference Items Added-We added over 350 new items to ReefCon-Online today. Most of the new items are Marine organisms. We plan to add some new freshwater items in the next few weeks. If anyone has any freshwater pictures we are in need of them.

  -ReefCon 2000 Service Pack 1 Released.-We have release the First Service Pack to ReefCon 2000. This service pack fixed several bugs reported to us since the final product release. You can view the Readme for the list of bug fixes.

  -New Aquarium discussions-We have added a a new group of aquarium discussion boards to our site. We have forums for Freshwater, Saltwater, and Brackish tanks. The new forums can be found in the discussion area for ReefCon. These forums are not for support purposes but for general husbandary discussion however we will monitor them and attempt to answer any questions relating to our products.

  -New Support Forum System-We have replaced the old very poor support forum system with a new more powerful one.   -New Product line Released!-Infinity Software has released the first in a series of new general home software products called the Home Collection. This first title is called Movie Manager 2001. Movie Manager is a Movie collection tracking and reporting software.

  -On-Line Database-I have finally been able to place the ReefCon Reference Database On-Line so users can browse and look-up Organisms without downloading and installing ReefCon. I hope that the general availiblity of the Database to the public will encourage people to help me develop the database into a more useful tool with the contribution of images and Data.
